What happens on this site

kumcosmetics.com is a static, brochure-style website with no shopping cart, no user accounts and no order processing. The following features exist:

  • Contact form and inquiry links (Contact page, Configurator, product pages) open your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to cosmetics@kum.net. Nothing is transmitted to our servers until you actively send that email yourself.
  • Quick Check and Configurator tools run entirely in your browser. Your selections (pencil diameter, colors, decoration options) are kept only on your device and are never sent to us unless you choose to submit them via the inquiry email above.
  • Cookie preferences — see "Cookies and analytics" below.

Server log files

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records technical information with every page request, temporarily stored in server log files: access date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and version, operating system, and the IP address assigned by your internet access provider. This happens on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating the site reliably, ensuring IT security and diagnosing technical issues. Log data is kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.

Cookies and analytics

We only set cookies beyond what's strictly necessary for the site to function once you've given consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time — see the "Manage cookie settings" link in the footer.

Necessary. One cookie that remembers your consent choice itself (up to 12 months), so we don't ask again on every visit. Set regardless of consent, since it's required to honor your choice (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics — Google Analytics. Where enabled, this site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated is used to evaluate site usage and compile reports on site activity. IP addresses are truncated within EU/EEA member states before any further processing. This runs only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. More information: Google's privacy policy.

Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to manage the tags described on this page from one place. Tag Manager itself sets no cookies and collects no personal data — it only triggers the other tags, each of which is described separately here and remains subject to your consent choice.

Marketing — Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Where enabled, this site uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland), to understand how visitors reach us from Meta's advertising products and to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. This runs only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. More information: Meta's privacy policy.
