Meet our first Cleaning Sharpener with Reduced Friction
These grooves are designed to deliver two key functional benefits: helping to remove residue from the cosmetic pencil tip during rotation, and helping to reduce friction during sharpening.
Conventional sharpening can allow formula residue to build up around the pencil tip, particularly when working with softer cosmetic formulations. Our integrated cleaning grooves are specifically developed to address this challenge during the sharpening process itself.
As the pencil rotates inside the sharpener, the cleaning grooves are designed to help guide excess formula and residue away from the pencil tip. This supports a cleaner tip during use and contributes to a more consistent sharpening result.
At the same time, the groove design helps reduce friction during sharpening. This supports smoother rotation of the pencil and a more comfortable sharpening experience for the end user, including with firmer liner formulations.
By combining these two functional effects in one design, our sharpener is developed to enhance convenience, support reliable performance and deliver a refined user experience.
The detail that changes everything
Look closely at the cone and the cleaning grooves are hard to miss — fine channels running along the blade, not an add-on part. As the pencil turns inside the sharpener, they guide excess formula and residue away from the tip while cutting the friction of the rotation itself.
Two functional effects from one piece of geometry: a cleaner tip after every sharpen, and a smoother, more comfortable turn — even with firmer liner formulations that tend to bind in a conventional cone.
Configuration
A transparent container clips onto the sharpener to catch shavings and residue as you sharpen — keeping bags, drawers and vanities clean, and making it easy to see when it needs emptying.
The base sharpener on its own — compact and pocket-sized, for brands and users who prefer to empty it by hand.
